About Us
The Indigenous Real Estate Association Canada is a member funded association dedicated to education, communication and advocacy about leasehold interests on first nations reserve lands in Canada. We develop real estate licencing educational materials and professional development training for a wide range of professions involved in the administration of land development and transactions of leasehold interests on reserve. Membership is open to all those with an interest in learning more about what it means to live, work and play on reserve lands.
Educate
IRAC provides curriculum development services to Provincial Real Estate licensing programs for new agent and broker education and continuing professional development.
Communicate
We communicate the value of living, working and playing on Indian Reserve lands throughout Canada.
Advocate
First Nations and their Locatee citizens consult with us about the development and management of their lands.

We are currently seeking qualified board members and look forward to welcoming non-board members once we fully launch in the second half of 2024.

Our Board
Do you know someone who would make a great founding Director for the association? We’re recruiting our first volunteer founding Board of Directors.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in senior executive and/or Board of Director roles (current or past service on Chief and Council) with a focus on real estate development, land use management, lands and leasing on reserve
- Prior experience developing and delivering educational content with an indigenous focus
- Prior experience as a lawyer in the practice area of indigenous lands and leasing
